Basic Guidelines

There is a wealth of good books and training available on the topics 'covered' by these basic guides, and these materials do not even pretend to compete with them.
However, it is not always practical to send everybody on an intensive training course - and not everybody is willing to read a 150 page book or to take the same messages from the text of it. The guides are intended, in some small way, to fill this gap. They will not have the impact of a company wide training programme, but they should begin to (consistently) fill the vacuum of the new skills required to support a more systematic management approach.
Furthermore, the guidelines you will find in this section have been developed through practical pragmatic experience born of a number of these implementations, and we hope they will achieve the same for your implementation as they have done for our clients.
